Team Photography Commonly Asked Questions

Turn around time is essential. Once the pictures have been taken, how soon are they available to the participants?

Photographs are consistently delivered within 3 weeks of Photo Day.

How are the pictures distributed to the customer?

Orders are packaged in individual envelopes with each team bundled for ease of distribution. Photographs are shipped to the organization via US Mail or are personally delivered.

How many teams can you photograph per hour?
|

All Photo Day procedures are designed to maximize efficiency. ShotsNow can photograph 4 to 6 teams per camera per hour. On Photo Day, ShotsNow will provide all the necessary support staff, 6 to 7 people, for two camera setups. We stay on schedule!

Are sports that are played outdoors photographed outdoors? What type of backdrop is used for indoor pictures?

ShotsNow feels very strongly that sporting activities should be photographed in the environment in which they are played. By utilizing a series of 10' x 10' canopies for outdoor shooting, we can photograph under most weather conditions with no compromise to the quality of the photographs. For indoor photography where the background may not be favorable, ShotsNow has a variety of studio portrait backdrops that are appropriate for a variety of activities.

Occasionally pictures don't turn out, how do you handle re-shoots?

ShotsNow reviews all photographs before they are delivered. By doing so, ShotsNow is making every attempt to identify any problems. If problems are spotted, we will promptly contact the customer to remedy the situation.

How do you assure the accuracy of orders?
|
|
We use equipment that has been optimized for a volume photography environment. Each youngster's order is referenced on film directly below their image, allowing ShotsNow and our lab to process the order quickly and accurately.

How is the team identified on the Memory Mate folder?
|
|
Each Memory Mate folder as well as team folders are gold foil imprinted with Organization, Year, and Team. No other photographer in the area provides Memory Mate folders with all 3 of these names imprinted.

Does your business maintain regular office hours to facilitate customer questions and concerns?
|
ShotsNow's regular business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Also, we generally are in the office before and after normal hours and on weekends. We do have a voice mail system which is monitored on a regular basis. Every effort is made to return phone messages the same day they are received. We also try to make contact in the evenings if the customer cannot be reached during the day.
